The ICC has withdrawn the demerit point given to Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium pitch after reviewing an appeal by the PCB. The Appeals Panel examined match footage, referee reports and captains’ comments before finding the pitch satisfactory. It said the surface did not show excessive unevenness, seam movement or spin. Pakistan had won the ODI series 2-1.
