A pregnant Defence Ministry official was found dead in Dwarka on Friday. Police registered a case against her husband and in-laws for cruelty and abetment to suicide. Her family alleged dowry harassment, stating demands were made even at the wedding. The victim, Nazia Khanam, was three months pregnant and celebrated her birthday this month. Her husband is currently absconding while the investigation continues.
