Railways has approved a new tri-weekly Bhuj-Barauni Amrit Bharat Express covering 2,532 km across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, with services to begin on a date to be announced. The Railway Ministry has also approved the extension of the Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi-Agra Cantt Express to Mathura, increasing its route length from 217 km to 270 km and adding four commercial stoppages.
