The Gears of War E-Day open beta has begun, offering early access to select players. This initial phase features the new 12-player Horde Siege mode and a revised 4v4 Versus mode. A second beta weekend will be open to all players without pre-order requirements. Players can unlock cosmetic rewards that will carry over to the full game.
