Aishwarya Sridhar turned a camera gifted by her father at 11 into a career in wildlife photography and conservation. At 23, her photograph Lights of Passion, featuring thousands of fireflies in Maharashtra, received a Highly Commended distinction at the 2020 Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards from nearly 50,000 entries worldwide. She later moved into filmmaking, documenting wetlands and wildlife, and became a National Geographic Explorer and conservation storyteller.
