Five-month-old hippo Bumpy was rescued after being found beside his dead mother in Naivasha, Kenya, in May. Taken to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, he has grown attached to his keepers and formed friendships with another rescued hippo, buffaloes and an orphaned elephant. Bumpy will eventually return to the wilds of riverine Tsavo.
