A fire broke out at a commercial building on Station Road in Kandivali West early Monday morning. Eleven people were safely rescued from the building through the staircase by fire brigade personnel. The blaze was confined to electrical wiring and adjacent temporary fruit stall materials. Clothes and furniture on the fourth floor of Tirupati Banquet were also affected by the fire.
