Fardeen Khan has joined the cast of Malamaal Weekly 2, the sequel to Priyadarshan’s 2006 comedy. He joins an ensemble led by Riteish Deshmukh, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Elvish Yadav. Directed by Amit Joshi, the film will feature an entirely new story while retaining the original’s small-town setting, greed, sudden wealth and comic chaos. The sequel is expected to go on floors by the end of this year.
