The Lucerne Public Prosecutor’s Office is investigating whether the certificates were genuine. Xhaka denies the allegations, saying he was vaccinated in 2022, while the doctor involved also rejects wrongdoing. Xhaka will be questioned in October and has pledged full cooperation with authorities.
