India’s electric vehicle retail sales hit a record 3,27,901 units in July. This represents a significant 66 percent year-over-year growth for the sector. The two-wheeler segment led this surge with 2,04,362 units sold. Electric passenger and three-wheeler sales also saw substantial increases. Overall, electric vehicles now constitute nearly one in eight vehicles retailed.
