The ABVP-led Delhi University Students’ Union has urged the Delhi government to address student accommodation and safety concerns by expanding hostel facilities and introducing regular safety audits of PGs and other buildings. The union also sought stronger women’s security through better lighting, functional Pink Booths, police patrolling and compensation for families affected by the Satya Niketan building collapse.
