Diageo has agreed to reformulate some of its best-selling whisky and rum brands in India after the food safety regulator banned them in some states over alleged violations involving added flavours, government sources told Reuters. The company will remove whisky or rum flavourings and introduce clearer front-of-pack labelling during the transition.
