The Delhi High Court has provided ITC Limited with temporary relief in its ongoing legal dispute. FSSAI had sought to cancel ITC’s food licence over specific product labelling claims. The court has now ordered no decision on licence cancellation until September 9. ITC is challenging the regulator’s advisory and the timing of its notices. Jurisdiction of the court to hear the matter is also still under consideration.
