Railways has approved multiple infrastructure and safety projects across the country, including Kavach 4.0 installation on 607.7 route kilometres in Lucknow Division at Rs 252 crore, Electronic Interlocking at seven Solapur Division stations for Rs 209 crore, a 1×25 kV to 2×25 kV traction upgrade on the Savalyapuram-Guntur section for Rs 142 crore, and a four-lane road overbridge in Gujarat costing Rs 133.2295 crore. The projects aim to strengthen railway safety, signalling, traction capacity and operational efficiency.
