Colorado ranch bought for conservation links to 100,000+ acres of public land

A 674-acre ranch on Colorado’s Pikes Peak was listed for $5.9 million as a potential development site, but Palmer Land Conservancy bought it for conservation instead. The Pinestone Ranch property connects Woodland Park with more than 100,000 acres of public land and could eventually support trails, wildlife habitat and public access as part of wider efforts to complete the Ring the Peak route.
