Coach accused in Godavari suicides also probed for earlier death of family’s son-in-law

Rifle shooting coach Sadik Khan was arrested in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, by police teams. He is accused of abetting the suicide of an engineer and his family members. The engineer’s family allegedly jumped into the Godavari river, with one survivor rescued. Khan had allegedly threatened the family and sought control of their valuables. Police are also investigating the prior death of the engineer’s son, which Khan was linked to.
