Vodafone Idea share price jumped as much as 6% in morning trade on the BSE on Wednesday, 12 August. The telecom stock opened flat at ₹12.92 and jumped 6% to an intraday high of ₹13.70.

Most emerging-market currencies weakened against the dollar on Monday as fading hopes of an imminent US-Iran deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz sent Brent futures prices higher.
