Central Bank of India announced a thirteen percent net profit increase for the June quarter. Total income rose to Rs 10,678 crore, and interest earned improved significantly. However, the bank’s operating profit saw a decline from the previous year. Asset quality improved as gross non-performing assets moderated to two point six zero percent. The capital adequacy ratio also strengthened to eighteen point two eight percent during this period.
