The X1 LWB gets a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder, direct-injection turbo-petrol engine producing 156hp and 230Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The engine makes 20hp more than the petrol unit in the standard X1.
