Australia’s official ARIA music charts will ban fully AI-generated songs from the chart dated August 31, allowing only recordings that are substantially human made. The move follows Josh Fawaz’s AI-assisted cover of Madonna’s Like a Prayer, which hit No. 2 and spent 16 weeks in the Top 20. ARIA can now strip chart positions and revoke No. 1 awards, following new global IFPI chart rules.
