Matthews skated at the inaugural Sun Devil Hockey Pro Camp in Arizona, an important recovery milestone after suffering a Grade 3 MCL tear and quadriceps contusion against the Anaheim Ducks. His return is a good sign heading into the 2026-27 NHL season.
