At 74, IGNOU learner Krishan Kumar Gupta completed a Master’s Degree Programme in Social Work and received a world record from the Golden Book of World Records for being the ‘Oldest to Pursue Masters Programme in Social Work’. Now 75, Gupta has also been honoured by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports for his early contribution to the National Service Scheme from 1967 to 1969 at Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi.
