Delhi experienced its lowest minimum temperature in 18 years, reaching 21 degrees Celsius, which is three notches below normal. The India Meteorological Department reported that heavy rain and storms in surrounding states contributed to the cool weather. Various locations in Delhi also recorded significantly low temperatures, with Ridge at 16.8 degrees Celsius. While the maximum temperature at Safdarjung was recorded at 30.6 degrees Celsius, it remained four notches below normal.
