Young leg-spinner Vipraj Nigam has replaced Varun Chakravarthy in India’s Asian Games squad after the senior spinner suffered a side strain. Nigam, who plays for Delhi Capitals, has taken 13 wickets in 19 IPL matches and also boasts a strong batting strike rate. India will begin their men’s cricket campaign in the quarterfinals on September 24.
