Apple Pay may launch in India as early as October this year. The service is expected to initially support card payments from Axis Bank. Discussions are ongoing with other major banks like HDFC and ICICI. Apple Pay could also integrate India’s popular UPI payment system later. This launch will introduce another option to India’s digital payments market.
