Ahead of the Paris Olympics, the Indian men’s hockey team underwent a gruelling boot camp at adventurer Mike Horn’s base in the Swiss Alps. Earlier this month, the team returned to the Alps, accompanied by mental conditioning expert Paddy Upton, who had initiated the exercise in 2024. Upton believes such experiences are vital to helping players deal with pressure, fear and uncertainty.
