Akasa Air will hire over 500 pilots in the next three years. The airline plans to induct more than a dozen planes annually. International routes will increase to about forty percent of capacity. This strategy aims to improve revenue per available seat kilometre. Larger aircraft will also help reduce unit costs through economies of scale.
