Mumbai-based Akasa Air is negotiating an order for over 200 Boeing 737 MAX jets to boost its operations. This potential order follows their existing unfilled orders for 183 jets and aims to extend their fleet beyond 2032. The airline currently operates 43 Boeing jets and plans a capacity increase by March 2027. Discussions regarding the order are expected to conclude early next year.
