Karnataka has introduced artificial intelligence (AI) as a vocational subject for Classes 9 and 10 under the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF). The programme will initially cover 1,642 government high schools, with AI offered as a third-language option. Schools will appoint guest teachers to train students in emerging technology and workplace-oriented skills.
