Brittany Mahomes’ growing sports empire is making a major community impact in Kansas City as the KC Current prepares to launch the free 9th & Van Brunt Soccer League. The eight-week program will welcome 120 children ages 8 to 10 and provide players with equipment at no cost. The initiative, backed by U.S. Soccer, CVS Health and local partners, will begin July 11, coinciding with Kansas City’s 2026 FIFA World Cup quarterfinal.
