India defeated Iran 37-33 to win the women’s kabaddi gold at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, securing their fourth title after previous triumphs in 2010, 2014 and 2022. The gold took India’s tally to 27 medals, including three gold, 11 silver and 13 bronze. Sawan Barwal and India’s women’s 50m rifle 3P team also won silver.
