Domestic coal supply for the power sector remained comfortable during July. Total coal stocks reached approximately 148 million tonnes, sufficient for 62 days. Production and despatches saw robust growth, supporting this comfortable supply situation. Coal receipts at thermal power plants also registered significant year-on-year growth. The ministry remains committed to ensuring uninterrupted energy security for the nation.
