Biocon shares rose after its US subsidiary received supplemental FDA approval for Yesintek single-dose prefilled autoinjectors in two strengths. The approval expands Biocon’s US immunology portfolio, with Yesintek used to treat conditions including plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
At 12:30 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, declined 325.69 points or 0.42% to 77,402.47. The Nifty 50 index lost 72.15 points or 0.30% to 24,216.
