The Indian stock market witnessed a mixed session on Tuesday as the Sensex rose over 100 points while the Nifty 50 dropped over 150 points to trade near 24,600. GE Shipping shares rallied sharply on Tuesday after the company reported a 160% year-on-year jump in Q1FY27 net profit and a 67% rise in revenue. The shipping major also announced an interim dividend of Rs 14.40 per share, while improving fundamentals and positive technical indicators supported investor sentiment.
