No offers received for Vijayawada Railway Station redevelopment under PPP model: Ashwini Vaishnaw

The initial bid for Vijayawada Railway Station’s redevelopment received no response. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed the Rajya Sabha about this development. Fifteen stations are identified for development under the Public-Private Partnership model. The proposal for Vijayawada Station’s redevelopment has received approval from PPPAC. Remaining stations are currently in master planning and financial modelling stages.
