Both Israeli teams forfeited their Round 6 games after the Netherlands and Bulgaria declined schedule changes. Barkai praised Singapore and Colombia for accommodating Israel, criticised FIDE’s handling, and warned the forfeits could significantly affect Israel’s rankings.
