Former minister Ramanath Rai and his personal assistant sustained injuries in a road accident. Their SUV collided with a private bus on the Karkala-Moodubidire route. The accident occurred on Sunday afternoon in Sanur village, Karkala Town police limits. Rai’s personal assistant suffered a fracture to his right leg during the incident. Both were promptly shifted to a nearby hospital for necessary medical attention.
