Zuckerberg experiences red-green color-blindness, making blue the single shade he perceives with total clarity, a trait that appears to have dictated the blue logos of Facebook and Meta. Swiss watchmaker De Bethune achieved the timepiece’s rich blue tone through thermal oxidation at over 700°C rather than chemical lacquers, heating grade 5 titanium to create a dynamic oxide layer perfectly suited for the tech founder.
