A geologist discovered a near-perfect circle in Western Australia’s outback. Years of analysis and drilling confirmed it as a young impact crater. The crater, named Hickman Crater, measures approximately 260 meters across. Scientific drilling revealed fragmented and melted rocks consistent with a meteorite impact. High nickel concentration indicated an iron meteorite as the projectile.
