Financial services secretary Sanjay Lohia has called a meeting with public sector bank, RRB and NABARD heads on Monday to ensure uninterrupted banking services during a proposed three-day strike from September 28. AIBEA is demanding a five-day banking week and has warned of an indefinite strike from October 26 if its demand remains unresolved.
