India’s food regulator has filed legal cases against Nestle India for alleged violations. These cases involve promotional claims and biotin content in infant nutrition products. The FSSAI found claims about “5 HMOs” and whey protein to be inappropriate. Separately, a Nestle infant formula sample was found substandard for biotin. Nestle stated its products comply with all applicable regulations and approvals.
