A court dismissed the bail plea of Anto Augustine, MD of a Malayalam news channel. Liquor above permissible limits was seized from his ancestral house in Wayanad. Augustine was arrested after a special team found liquor bottles at his home. He claimed no possession of the property where liquor was found. A petition for bail was later filed before the Kerala High Court.
