Hours before CM DK Shivakumar’s visit, a 9-foot Siddaramaiah statue appears in Kalaburagi, then quietly disappears

Municipal authorities removed a nine-foot statue of Siddaramaiah near a Kalaburagi intersection. This action occurred just before the Kalyana Karnataka Utsava commenced on Thursday. Siddaramaiah’s fans had installed the unauthorized statue the previous day. The removal took place in the presence of police officers. Chief Minister DK Shivakumar inaugurated the Utsava on the same day.
