A jumping spider named Nefertiti journeyed to the International Space Station in 2012. She was part of a study to observe hunting behavior without gravity. Scientists gained insights into visual predator adaptation in zero gravity conditions. Nefertiti successfully hunted fruit flies during her 100-day mission. She returned to Earth and was displayed at the Smithsonian Institution.
