Telangana has one govt MRI scanner for every 42L people: Data

Telangana’s government hospitals possess only nine MRI machines for nearly 3.8 crore people. Twenty-nine of the state’s thirty-three districts lack any government MRI facility. Six of these machines are located in Hyderabad, with others in Warangal and Adilabad. The government plans to add nine more machines to improve access in several districts. However, experts highlight the need for more staff and infrastructure to support new equipment.
