Trai has unveiled a set of new quality of service guidelines for 5G network slicing aimed at safeguarding subscribers from service deterioration. Telecom operators are now permitted to implement distinct pricing for 4G and 5G offerings. Every network slice will be considered an independent tariff category, with a mandate for operators to reveal the measured speeds associated with each network slice.
