In a first, 3 IAF trainers join Royal Air Force to train young British pilots

Three Indian Air Force pilots are now qualified flying instructors in the United Kingdom. They will train Royal Air Force pilots at RAF Valley in Wales. This marks a historic first in India-UK defence cooperation and military training engagements. The Indian instructors will train UK pilots on the BAE Hawk T2 aircraft. This deployment is initially planned for a duration of two years.
