Food regulator FSSAI has ordered immediate recalls of two products from the market. Nilgiri Oil and Allied Industries must recall its coriander powder due to pesticide residues. Aquagri Processing’s carrageenan product is recalled for safety concerns regarding cadmium. Lab testing found both products unsafe and not conforming to standards. FSSAI has increased enforcement actions against food businesses recently.
