Senior Congress leader Dr Ratnakar Mahajan passed away in Pune on Saturday. He was 80 years old and had been ailing for a few days. Mahajan was a socialist thinker and political analyst who championed social causes. He also served as the spokesperson for the Congress party’s Maharashtra unit. His last rites will be performed later today at Vaikunth Smashanbhoomi.
