Nine migrant labourers died early Friday after their pickup van collided with a truck. Most of the labourers were asleep when the severe collision occurred on the road. Eight injured workers were declared dead at Bhandara Government Hospital after the accident. Four others were referred to Nagpur for further medical treatment and care. District officials are working to identify the victims and contact their families.
